Myodynamics of the support phase during different take-off tasks in human locomotion
Hojka, Vladimír ; Jelen, Karel (advisor) ; Otáhal, Jakub (referee) ; Kampmiller, Tomáš (referee)
Title: Myodynamics of the support phase during different take-off tasks in human locomotion Objectives: Six types of take-off movement were analyzed in terms of support limb kinematics, take-off dynamics and muscle activation, in order to identify differences in motor control. Methods: 14 male athletes (22.6 ± 4.4 years; 182.4 ± 5.3 cm; 74.7 ± 6.2 kg) took part in laboratory experiment. Each athlete performed six different take-off movements (running, acceleration - first and second step, long jump take-off, high jump take-off and take-off to the hurdle). System Qualisys was used to analyze kinematics of the support limb. Dynamic of the suport phase was measured with Kistler 9281 EA force- plate. ME6000 apparatus was used to measure the muscle activation. Results were processed and statistically evaluated in Matlab (MathWorks, Inc) environment. Pair ANOVA, T-test and Friedmann test were performed to identify differences between take-off movements. regression analysis was introduced to find the relationship between parameters. Results: Significant differences in take-off dynamics are realized with not so significant differences in kinematic and electromyographic parameters. high jump and long jump take-offs acted most specifically in comparison with other types of take-offs. Two typically...
Analysis of the hurdle clearance technique of students from Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Charles University
Slavíček, Lukáš ; Červinka, Pavel (advisor) ; Vindušková, Jitka (referee)
Title: Analysis of the hurdle clearance technique of students from Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Charles University Objectives: The main goal of this bachelor thesis was to determine the most frequently occurring mistakes in the hurdle clearance technique in the 110 m hurdles of selected students from Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Charles University. Other goal was to summarize exercises that will help eliminate the observed mistakes. Methods: Kinematic analysis was used to diagnose mistakes in the hurdle clearance technique. Correlation analysis was used to determine the relation between anthropometric indicators and the frequency of observed mistakes. Because of the set goals the qualitative method was used and the frequency of the mentioned mistakes was recorded in the rating scale afterwards. Based on the publications from Jeřábek (2008), Kašpar (in Hrabinec et al., 2017) and my own experience, a list of fourteen frequently occurring mistakes in the hurdle clearance technique was created. Making video recordings was used for research material collection. Selected technical parameters of the hurdle clearance technique were analyzed by using Kinovea program. For each student, video recordings were taken from two perspectives - from the left side and from the front....

Šenkyříková, Klára ; Fiala, Miloš (advisor) ; Vilášek, Josef (referee)
Title: 100 m hurdle race women in fire sport. Objectives: A description of the discipline of 100 m hurdle race women and a description of rendition technique from the methodical point of view is the main objective of this work. Methods: A descriptive method and a video record analysis were used in this work. Each phases are slowed-motion and retroactive described. Results: It`s a methodical description of the discipline with the video record and it will be used for coaching purposes for beginning and also advanced racers. It will improve technique of 100 m hurdle race and also achieve better sports performances too. Keywords: run, start, hurdle, beam, fire divider, technique, movement, analysis.
